About the Role
The Skip Tracer/Collections Clerk/Verification Specialist plays a pivotal role in assisting the Loss Recovery Department with clerical administrative duties, strategic collection methods, and skip tracing. This position is responsible for organizing, verifying employment or residence, maintaining filing systems, and supporting legal collections paperwork through the Superior Court.
Requirements
Over 3 years of experience in the auto finance industry, particularly in small claims.
Experience in skip tracing: 6 years (Preferred)
Experience in small claims: 3 years (Preferred)
Proficiency in complex issue resolution.
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Must be adaptable to change, flexible, and demonstrate persuasive communication and organizational skills.
Desire to exceed challenging goals, self-motivated, and able to demonstrate personal initiative to achieve high standards of performance.
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to sit and talk on the phone.
Utilize logic and critical thinking to reason and solve problems.
Requirements
Assist the Loss Recovery Department with strategic collection methods, including skip tracing.
Locate and facilitate leads on assets, and verify employment or residence in writing.
Organize classified data/files chronically, alphabetically, and numerically.
Maintain a filing or database organizational system.
Check statuses of case files via court websites or by phone.
Answer, screen, direct, and make phone calls.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
